Our organization had it's origin in 1969, when the Chief of the New Hackensack Fire Company called for an area meeting to discuss airport disaster plans
Welcome to our web site!
Our Association provides a unique forum for Fire-Police Officers throughout Dutchess
County, to discuss issues, propose new ideas, improve safety and better serve our
communities.
The work of a Fire-Police Officer often goes unnoticed, when there is a tragic event,
such as a fire, a motor-vehicle accident or an emergency medical situation. We quietly
provide security for our firefighters, EMS personnel and equipment, we control traffic and
secure emergency scenes, and we interface with the public and police.
We hope you will enjoy visiting our site and learning more about the VFPADC, and if you are interested, we have provided an application form, so that you may join our organization and enjoy the benefits and the camaraderie of a wonderful group of dedicated and experienced officers.
